November 19th 2006, TheOneRing.net received an exclusive
letter from Peter Jackson and his crew down in New
Zealand. The letter outlined the reasons that PJ was
not going to be involved with the making of a film
version of The Hobbit. We are obviously VERY
disappointed and would hope the letter inspires you to

We have yet to receive any type of reaction or response from New Line Cinema, but we will gladly post one as soon as we do!

With the revelations from Peter Jackson's letter to TheOneRing.net, the only way we are going to reach our goal of having a live-action version of 'The Hobbit' from Peter Jackson and his team, is by keeping after the studios who own the rights: New Line Cinema and MGM/UA. We must continue to send letters and postcards to these people. The addresses can be found on the left side of this page.
To be successful, we MUST physically mail postcards and letters. We cannot depend on email or online petitions to get the job done. The more personal the letters and postcards we send to the studio's the more effective our campaign will be.
